Fees
The Board generally sets fees based on the expected level of Commonwealth and State Funding for the year and the strategic objectives for the year.
REGISTRATION FEE
In order to register a student to be considered for enrolment, an Application form must be completed and a fee of $100 paid. This fee is non-refundable and is designed to cover administration costs associated with the application process. Please note that the acceptance by the School of an Application form and the non-refundable administration fee, does not guarantee an offer of enrolment.
ENROLMENT & BOND FEE
Following a successful interview and visit dates, a place may be offered should one become available.
Acceptance of an offer of a place will be confirmed upon payment of a $400 one off enrolment fee and a Bond of $1150 equivalent to a full terms fees.
The enrolment fee is a commitment to the School that the student will take the position stated in the formal Letter of Offer.
NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL
The enrolment bond is only refundable to students who withdraw from the School following completion of Children’s house, on the condition that the School is given a full Term’s notice in writing.
SCHOOL BUILDING FUND
The School has established a School Building Fund to which parents are encouraged to donate. These funds will be used to maintain School Facilities. The Fund is approved by the Australian Taxation Office, and therefore all donations over $2 are eligible tax deductions. A pledge request letter will be sent out Term one 2011.
CHILD CARE CASH REBATE
Parents of Kindergarten or Pre Primary students may be eligible for a Centrelink Rebate by requesting a receipt from the School Office at the end of each term.

Payment of tuition fees must be paid in full by February 11th 2011 unless a payment option offered by the School has been committed to in writing.
Payments made in full by 11th February will be entitled to a 5% discount.
Fees paid per term should be made according to the dates set out below:

MONTESSORI AUSTRALIA FOUNDATION ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION
The Montessori Australia Foundation is the Montessori peak body in Australia. As a Montessori family you will receive the annual magazine Montessori Insights, e-Bulletins and e-Articles on Montessori Education and Montessori sector in Australia. The annual fee per family is included in the tuition fee.
STUDENT ACCIDENT INSURANCE
All students attending Rockingham Montessori School are covered against accidental injury under the “Student Accident Protection plan” Details of benefits and costs are outlined in the leaflet attached.
SIBLING DISCOUNT
A reduction as set out below is made for each student member of the family concurrently attending the School, other than the eldest.
Please note that the annual tuition fees include a $200 service fee per family. Second and subsequent children WILL NOT be charged the $200, making their annual fee $4400 minus the sibling discount.

OVERDUE ACCOUNTS
A late payment fee of $33 will be charged if payment has not been received within 14 days following the due date as mentioned above or an alternative payment plan has not been made with The Finance Manager. If a payment plan has not been put in place or is not adhered to a late fee of $33.00 will also apply. If fees remain unpaid, the School reserves the right to terminate the enrolment of a student and payment of the debt will be pursued through the school’s debt collectors.
EXCURSIONS
The following estimates have been made of the possible additional costs for excursions in 2011. This information is provided to assist families in their budgeting; however, it is indicative only and may vary.

PAYMENT OF ACCOUNTS
Tuition Fees and charges may be paid by Bankcard, Cash, Cheque, MasterCard, Visacard and internet transfer. Cheques should be made payable to Rockingham Montessori School. For your convenience EFTPOS facilities are available at the School Office to receive payments by mail, telephone or in person.
